Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash is a Universal Century Gundam timeline created by Yoshiyuki Tomino, originally published as a novel trilogy between 1989 and 1990. It serves as a direct sequel to Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack and is set in U.C. 0105.

The story follows Hathaway Noa, who adopts the alias “Mafty” and leads an anti–Earth Federation movement opposing corruption and environmental exploitation. Unlike earlier Gundam works that emphasize rivalry and ideology-driven conflict, Hathaway’s Flash presents a politically grounded narrative focused on terrorism, moral ambiguity, and the cost of revolution.
