Mobile Suit Gundam 00 is the first Gundam series set in the Anno Domini (A.D.) timeline, produced by Sunrise and aired in 2007.

The story takes place in the year 2307, when the world’s energy is controlled by orbital solar power systems and divided among three superpower blocs. To eradicate war and conflict, the mysterious organization Celestial Being deploys four Gundam Meisters, piloting GN Drive–powered Mobile Suits to enforce armed intervention.

The series explores the paradox of using force to achieve peace, delving into humanity’s struggles, ideologies, and hope for the future.
